☼ WHO CAN COME TO RETREATS?

You! AT loba loba we believe that the best learning comes from groups of all different types of people, ages, and backgrounds. every person has their own unique gifts to share whether they know it or not and we can’t wait to meet you! that being said, we ask that all participants come with their open and curious hearts and patience and flexibility. because we are a slow travel, sustainable business we prefer to move with intention and stop and smell the roses as often as possible during our retreats.

☼ do you plan or facilitate PLANT MEDICINE RETREATs?

LOBA does not seek, facilitate, partner, or participate in any plant medicine (meaning entheogenic) events or ceremonies. The subject is very SENSITIVE AND complicated especially for native american and indigenous people regarding the colonization and commodification of plant medicine. THAT BEING SAID, WE LEAVE THIS sACRED WORK IN THE HANDS OF OUR native and INDIGENOUS ALLIES. We believe that there are plenty more subjects regarding respect and sustainability to cover when partnering with native american and indigenous people or organizations. ☼ IS MEXICO SAFE?

DESPITE WHAT YOU MAY HEAR IN THE NEWS, MEXICO IS FULL OF LOVING, HELPFUL, AND VIBRANT PEOPLE AND HAS MANY SAFE AND BEAUTIFUL PLACES TO VISIT! THE CULTURE IS WARM AND HOSPITABLE, ESPECIALLY IN SAN PANCHO. SAN PANCHO IS A CALM, BOHEMIAN VILLAGE WITH MANY LOCAL FAMILIES AND FOREIGNERS. JUST AS YOU WOULD IN ANY foreign COUNTRY, PRACTICE SAFE TRAVELING, don’t buy or sell drugs (this includes plant medicine), AND RESPECT YOUR HOST COMMUNITIES.

Bank transfer, or CC through WeTravel. WeTravel does not charge for US bank transfers. CC fees are applied through WeTravel. We are happy to work with you on a payment plan that supports your needs. Please contact mel@lobaloba.mx for more info.

⇻DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ⇺

Unfortunately, planning retreats costs a lot of time and money. Our deposit schedules and refunds are in line with our vendor's terms and conditions.

⇻TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⇺

Life is unpredictable and travel insurance can give you peace of mind. You may book Travel Insurance through WeTravel, World Nomads, Allianz, or another company of your choosing.

⇻ CANCELLATION POLICY ⇺

  • 90 days before the first day of the retreat you will receive an 80% refund (minus your deposit)

  • 90-60 days before the first day of the retreat you will receive a 50% refund (minus your deposit)

  • less than 60 days from the first day of the retreat you will not receive a refund (this is why travel insurance is so important)

Participants are responsible for all nights and rates reserved. Because these are all-inclusive retreats, refunds and pro-rating are not possible.
